In Canada, as a whole, there are tens of thousands of companies involved in new developments, renovations and construction. In most provinces, it is an industry that is largely unregulated. Not all builders are licensed to build new homes, and many contractors flip between different legal entities faster than a revolving door. This is not something that we want to see continue. Both consumers and industry leaders should be mutually protected and every project undertaken should end with a satisfied client, in-turn generating more referrals. Anything short of this is unacceptable and does not meet our rigorous standards.
